Who wouldn’t want to experience a 5.0-litre V8 Ford Mustang speeding around a race track? Well, the good news is that you can now ride shotgun in an awesome new interactive 360-degree POV video, using your mouse to rotate the viewing angle from inside the muscle car as it paces around the Silverstone race track.
Mark Truby of Ford Europe said: "We wanted everyone to be able to experience a Mustang V8 at high speed on a great track.
You can also switch between helicopter and front-bumper views, see the Mustang’s position on an active map, and check the speedometer and rev counter.

Watch the video here on the Ford UK website.

"What makes this video unique is that the viewer is in complete control of the vantage point."
The video was captured using six GoPro cameras inside the car, a front bumper camera and a drone flying up above. All edited together to provide a seamless, unique and interactive video experience.
Professional driver Paul Swift drove the Mustang on the 2.5km lap of the National Circuit at Silverstone, home to the British Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The new right-hand drive Mustang will arrive in South Africa in December. The Mustang is available with Ford’s five-litre V8 320kW/530Nm engine or the 2.3-litre EcoBoost capable of 228kW/432Nm.
Please note that 360° functionality is not supported on all internet browsers and a rather robust internet connection is required for a smooth interactive experience.
If the link is not working you can try the video out on YouTube
