An action-packed, extreme off-road 4x4 adventure through the Namib Desert, the challenge will push your driving and survival skills to the limit. But know that this year is tougher than ever!
Kicking off in Spitzkoppe, the Ranger Odyssey weaves its way through some of the most treacherous plains in Africa’s oldest desert. It’s the perfect testing ground for brain and brawn. With rotating instructors scoring you daily on performance, general knowledge and can-do attitude – and voting you off the challenge if you show any signs of buckling – victory will be hard-earned…
The winning driver will receive an Odyssey Ranger to drive for a year, with a complimentary fuel allowance of R5 000 per month. The Ranger Odyssey is no holiday. Mastering the Ford Ranger’s extensive off-road capabilities is critical to successfully completing the challenge.

Bootcamp is an opportunity for contestants to brush up on their 4x4 skills and demonstrate their potential to the judges. Only 40 individuals will be invited to the Karoo from 18 to 22 June 2015. Only 20 will make the cut.
